Hillbilly Irish Craetive Kitchens llc (HICK) was startedby planting an herb garden. Then it was, now I have them, what do I do with them. So I infused some oils -Olive oil mostly- with various herbs (rosemary, basil, lemon verbena). Then I researched their properties and made lip balms. This was suggested to me by a friend who was an apiarist (beekeeper) who also provided me with some bees wax. So the lip balms were created.

Next came soaps. NOT my great-grandmother's lye soap by any means.  My lye soaps are crafted with olive oil as the main oil, and do not contain animal fats that can clog pores. I add tree tea oil to my soaps. These soaps last about 2-3 months for one 2.5 to 4 ounce bar. I personally use them on my face as well as my body.
